Bristol East Exhibition
St. Ursula's School, Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol
Our annual exhibition is a modest one-day affair, but we do try to invite a cross-section
of good-quality layouts from the extended locality. This year the layouts include:
Berkeley Junction - 'O' Gauge, 53' long, modern image
Devil's Creek - 'HO' Gauge, Nevada around 1900
Downdale - 'OO' Gauge, modern image
East Ilsley - 'EM' Gauge, GWR terminus
East Lynn - 'S' Gauge, Great Eastern Railway, 1903
Gottingen Sud - 1:45, standard & narrow gauge
Harchester Stabling Point - 'OO' Gauge, modern image
KBN Wagon Works - 'O' Gauge, West Country 1900-1930
The Layout With No Name - ON30, wild west
Llanfairish & Aber - 'OO9' Gauge, 1930s in Wales
Loddon St. Pauls - 'N' Gauge, through station of flexible period
Mattley - 'N' Gauge, West Country branchline terminus
Millanford - 'OO' Gauge, BR (Western Region)
Ryan's Mill - 'SM32' Gauge, narrow-gauge shunting layout
Severn Beach - 'OO' Gauge, BR steam & diesel through station
Wood Street - 'O' Gauge, shunting layout
We will also have display stands presented by the RCTS, the HMRS,
the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway Society and Craig Tiley, railway artist.
Refreshments will be on sale, Railwayania of Swindon provide trade
support, and there are always bargains to be had on the Club's secondhand stall. Wendy, "the Thomas Lady",
will be on hand to entertain the youngest of visitors.
The exhibition runs from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is £3 for adults,
£2 for OAPs and £1.50 for children under 16.
So come and pay us a visit. The more the merrier.
Future exhibitions have been scheduled for 15 September 2007 and 20 September 2008.
